Curious what people think. We have two kids and Average temperature is around 73--F, so it's warm year-round. The city has invested a lot in new development. Does this match your experience? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a accountant who relocated here from San Francisco about 1 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and family.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Four distinct seasons
- Good airport with direct flights
Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Urban sprawl is real
Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are established, gas is decent.
Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Used to live on the Riverside side, now on the Old Town side. Completely different vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me.
