What to expect moving to Oviedo?

Random thought, Just moved here 15 months ago and Average temperature is around 73--F, so it's warm year-round. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. What neighborhoods would you suggest? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are pretty good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 14 years and the quality of life is solid. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Fairview side vs the Old Town side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
