Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm single, late 50s, and Average temperature is around 61--F, so the weather is moderate. Rent is about $1,222/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 3.5%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $231,400 on average. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Internet is hit or miss in most areas.

My experience has been mostly positive. I'm still on the fence after all this time. The only thing I'd watch out for is cultural scene. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
