What surprised you most about Owasso?

Alright, I'm retired and Median household income is $79,386, which feels about average for the area. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in Springfield area are challenging. Kids love it here.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Internet is solid in most areas.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Phoenix about 15 years ago. The main reasons were work and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Good internet infrastructure
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are growing, gas is average.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Hope this helps!.
