Hey folks, I'm retired and Crime rate is something to consider -Owensboro sits at 224.6 per 100K. With a population of 60,112, Owensboro is a smaller city. Poverty rate is 16.4%, which is higher than I expected. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. TIA! Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
