Hey folks, We have two kids and Poverty rate is 10.4%, which is around average. The unemployment rate is 6.0%, which is about average. Household incomes average around $42,147 in Oxford. Median household income is $42,147, which feels on the lower side for the area. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. What are your go-to spots? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
