Best neighborhoods to rent in Oxford?

So, I'm originally from Pittsburgh and You can expect to pay around $1,208 for rent here. The median home value here is around $309,600, which seems about average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Anyone in a similar situation? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Riverside. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in real estate. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Southern.

Definitely worth checking out..
