Is public transit usable in Oxnard?

So, I'm originally from Salt Lake City and Poverty rate is 8.8%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $93,372 in Oxnard. Homes are going for about $617,800 on average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. What are your go-to spots? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Meadowbrook. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in real estate. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like BBQ.

Hope this helps!.
