Is Ozark getting better or worse?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I work in manufacturing and Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

We moved here with our family and it's exactly what I was looking for. Schools in Highland area are decent. Kids love it here.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value food scene, you'll love it. The job market is genuinely decent and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. My neighborhood (Eastside) is wild and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Boston, be prepared for the culture shock. food scene is completely different here. And Traffic during rush hour is rough.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Came here for quality of life and stayed because I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market is honestly solid and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 14 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the food scene is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Fairview side vs the The Heights side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

My experience has been mostly positive. I have mixed feelings honestly. The only thing I'd watch out for is traffic. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..
