Job market in Ozark for tech?
Curious what people think. I relocated for work and Thoughts? Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.
I've been here 13 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is challenging.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Uptown side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are decent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Came here for work and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The cost of living is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
