Anyone else feel this way? It's a a small town city with about 21,953 people. Household incomes average around $69,372 in Ozark. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Thoughts? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

I've lived in South for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by dating scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Decent public transit for the size
- The walkability scene is hit or miss
The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Limited high-paying job options
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for young professionals. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The pet-friendliness is honestly hit or miss and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
