Remote worker thinking about Pace

Alright, I've been here for 6 years and Homes are going for about $271,400 on average. It's a a smaller city city with about 25,630 people. Household incomes average around $84,912 in Pace. The median home value here is around $271,400, which seems about average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Has anyone dealt with this? Thanks in advance! The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it's exactly what I was looking for. Compared to Miami it's excellent.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is school system. I have mixed feelings honestly. Worth doing your research before committing.

Bought a house here in 2018 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

I'm a writer and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. The community is decent and there's always something going on.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Chicago about 1 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good schools in most areas
- Low crime in most neighborhoods

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Chain restaurants dominate

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are established, gas is tough.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a chef who relocated here from Houston about 14 years ago. The main reasons were work and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Nightlife is limited

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are established, gas is decent.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Happy to answer more specific questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Uptown. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in tech. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Thai.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
