Top 5 things I love about Pacific

First post here. Just moved here 7 months ago and Household incomes average around $57,119 in Pacific. Poverty rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. It's a a small town city with about 7,299 people. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Should I be concerned? The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Used to live on the Oak Park side, now on the Highland side. Completely different vibe. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in Highland area are pretty good. Kids love it here.
