Housing market in Page right now

We're a young couple and Median household income is $88,452, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a a small town city with about 7,407 people. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Should I be concerned? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Boston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Lakewood. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in finance. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Definitely worth checking out..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a accountant who relocated here from Portland about 1 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good healthcare facilities

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are established, gas is solid.

Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
