How much do you pay for rent in Pagedale?

Random thought, Military spouse here. The median home value here is around $77,500, which is actually reasonable. Poverty rate is 26.1%, which is higher than I expected. With a population of 2,547, Pagedale is a small town. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Used to live on the Westside side, now on the Uptown side. Completely different vibe. I love the pace of life here.

Bought a house here in 2017 and it's been a really good experience overall. Property values have gone about the same since then.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is weather. Other than that, Definitely worth checking out..

I've been living here for 13 years and I'd say the quality of life is solid. The cultural scene is solid compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.

Came here for weather and stayed because I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The healthcare is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I've been living here for 9 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The weather is hit or miss compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a project manager, 37, moved here 12 years ago from San Diego. I've lived in Meadowbrook and South, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Low crime in most neighborhoods
2. Four distinct seasons
3. Strong sense of community
4. The people are generally surprisingly good - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Limited high-paying job options
2. Road conditions need improvement
3. The weather situation is reasonable and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Meadowbrook: Great for families. pretty good vibes, walkable.
- South: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from San Diego, everything felt average. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are developing. Gas is established. You can live comfortably on $40K-$90K here.

**Final verdict:**
Give it a chance - it might surprise you.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in Pine Hills area are pretty good. Kids love it here.
