Affordable areas near Palatka?

We have two kids and Rent is about $914/month for a decent place. Median household income is $33,628, which feels on the lower side for the area. The unemployment rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

- Mosquitoes and humidity

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is nightlife. it's been a really good experience overall. Worth doing your research before committing.
