Grocery stores in Palermo -recommendations?
I'm a 37-year-old data analyst and With a population of 5,440, Palermo is a small town. It's a a small town city with about 5,440 people. The unemployment rate is 6.7%, which is concerning. Homes are going for about $287,000 on average. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Thoughts? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
