I relocated for work and Poverty rate is 7.3%, which is pretty low. Is this normal for Palisades Park? Any help is appreciated.

I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The cultural scene scene is decent
The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Dating scene is rough
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for remote workers. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.
I've been here 6 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is underrated.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Westside side vs the The Heights side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Hope this helps!.

I've been here 5 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the community vibe is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is challenging.
