Freelancing from Palm Beach Gardens -experience?

Longtime lurker here, Crime rate is something to consider -Palm Beach Gardens sits at 136.3 per 100K. Poverty rate is 4.0%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $2,269 for rent here. Average temperature is around 74--F, so it's warm year-round. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. As someone who grew up here, it's not perfect but it works for me. A lot has changed in the past few years though. outdoor recreation used to be much developing but now it's underrated.

Bought a house here in 2019 and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Property values have gone about the same since then.

My experience has been mostly positive. I'm still on the fence after all this time. The only thing I'd watch out for is food scene. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 4 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Oak Park side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
