OK so I grew up here but left for a while. Crime rate is something to consider -Palm Beach Gardens sits at 136.3 per 100K. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Springfield. It's decent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in consulting. If you're in engineering you might struggle.
People: Generally solid. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like sushi.
It's not for everyone but it works for us..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Riverside. It's surprisingly good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in legal. If you're in consulting you might struggle.
People: Generally solid. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.
Good luck with whatever you decide..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.
I've been here 8 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is better than expected.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The South side vs the Riverside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
No regrets on my end..

Came here for quality of life and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The outdoor recreation is honestly hit or miss and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
