Life in Palm Beach Gardens as a young professional

Median household income is $110,563, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a a smaller city city with about 59,751 people. With a population of 59,751, Palm Beach Gardens is a smaller city. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. What are your go-to spots? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'm a software engineer and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. The community is tough and there's always something going on.

Hot take but I'm still on the fence after all this time. I know a lot of people disagree but after 3 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value cultural scene, you'll love it. The traffic is genuinely decent and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. My neighborhood (Cedar Grove) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Miami, be prepared for the culture shock. pet-friendliness is completely different here. And Bugs and humidity in summer.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
