Is Palm Desert getting better or worse?

Alright, I'm retired and Average temperature is around 76--F, so it's warm year-round. Household incomes average around $79,508 in Palm Desert. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Anyone in a similar situation?

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Worth doing your research before committing.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
