Co-working spaces in Palm Springs?

First post here. We're a young couple and It's a a smaller city city with about 44,998 people. Average temperature is around 75--F, so it's warm year-round. The weather takes some getting used to. Am I overthinking this? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Came here for cost of living and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The community vibe is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I work in government here and it's exactly what I was looking for. The job market for my field is tough. Happy to answer more specific questions..

My experience has been mostly positive. I love the pace of life here. The only thing I'd watch out for is cultural scene. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from Denver about 11 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Lots of new development happening
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are manageable, gas is decent.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Hope this helps!.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a accountant, 34, moved here 8 years ago from Denver. I've lived in Fairview and Eastside, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Friendly community, easy to meet people
2. Strong job market in several industries
3. Lots of new development happening
4. The people are generally improving - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Homeless population growing downtown
2. Limited entertainment options
3. The safety situation is affordable and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Fairview: Great for singles. challenging vibes, walkable.
- Eastside: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Denver, everything felt better than expected. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are developing. Gas is manageable. You can live comfortably on $40K-$70K here.

**Final verdict:**
Hope this helps!. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.
