Not sure if this has been asked before, but I've been here for 13 years and Average temperature is around 76--F, so it's warm year-round. Crime rate is something to consider -Palm Springs sits at 636.3 per 100K. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Am I wrong here? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
