Hello, I'm a 48-year-old data analyst and Crime rate is something to consider -Palmer sits at 280.4 per 100K. Homes are going for about $275,900 on average. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I overthinking this? Thanks in advance! There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Came here for weather and stayed because it's improved dramatically in recent years. The safety is honestly challenging and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Public transit is average here. You'll probably need a car for most things. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are excellent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
