Cost of living reality check -Palmer Ranch

Hey, I'm a remote worker and Crime rate is something to consider -Palmer Ranch sits at 187.1 per 100K. The median home value here is around $563,000, which is pretty steep. Homes are going for about $563,000 on average. Household incomes average around $103,682 in Palmer Ranch. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. What do you all think? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

I work in manufacturing here and it's not perfect but it works for me. The job market for my field is surprisingly good. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
