Job market in Palmetto for tech?

The median home value here is around $256,700, which seems about average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Should I be concerned? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

I've lived in Riverside for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The cost of living scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Road conditions need improvement

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. Hope this helps!.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is traffic. it's been a really good experience overall. Worth doing your research before committing.

Weather-wise, the summers are challenging and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.
