Best industries in Palmyra right now

Been meaning to ask this. I grew up here but left for a while. It's a a small town city with about 7,769 people. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I've lived in Riverside for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Close to major attractions
- The school system scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for retirees. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value dating scene, you'll love it. The community vibe is genuinely underrated and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. My neighborhood (The Heights) is established and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Tampa, be prepared for the culture shock. healthcare is completely different here. And Urban sprawl is real.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Bought a house here in 2024 and it's exactly what I was looking for. Property values have gone about the same since then.

As someone who grew up here, it's improved dramatically in recent years. A lot has changed in the past few years though. weather used to be much affordable but now it's hit or miss.
