Pros and cons of Palos Heights after 11 years
Homes are going for about $350,000 on average. Any advice would be great. Looking forward to hearing from you all.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in East. It's decent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in consulting. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.
People: Generally decent. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: solid. Tons of options if you like BBQ.
Good luck with whatever you decide..
