Remote worker thinking about Palos Hills

So, Just moved here 5 months ago and Crime rate is something to consider -Palos Hills sits at 110.7 per 100K. With a population of 18,139, Palos Hills is a small town. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

I'm a lawyer and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is better than expected in most areas.

Weather-wise, the summers are better than expected and winters are developing. You get used to it after the first year.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are average, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
