Curious what people think. Been living here since 2023. It's a a small town city with about 18,139 people. Median household income is $83,969, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What are your go-to spots? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a nurse who relocated here from Portland about 12 years ago. The main reasons were family and retirement.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good healthcare facilities
- Affordable housing options
Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are pricey, gas is excellent.
Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Happy to answer more specific questions..
