Studio apartments in Palos Verdes Estates -options?
Hey, I grew up here but left for a while. It's a a small town city with about 13,047 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Palos Verdes Estates sits at 29.9 per 100K. Poverty rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
Pros:
- Good schools
- Easy commute
- Good healthcare facilities
- Strong sense of community
- Walkable downtown
Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Rising rent prices
- Sprawl everywhere
- Far from major airports
- Homelessness issues downtown
Any advice would be great. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
