Living in Paoli -the reality

OK so Homes are going for about $134,300 on average. Median household income is $45,926, which feels on the lower side for the area. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Cedar Grove for 1 years. Moved from Portland for quality of life. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is challenging. We bought in 2016 at k and it's now worth down slightly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 1-bed in a safe area. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals.

**Employment:**
government is strong here. construction is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are developing for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I have mixed feelings honestly. The outdoor scene is tough - we have rivers within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Cedar Grove schools are improving. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Traffic during rush hour is rough. Nightlife is limited. And healthcare can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For young professionals, I'd say this is a 8/10. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Bought a house here in 2021 and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

I've lived in East for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Active local events and festivals
- The housing market scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
