Is Paonia worth moving to in 2026?

The median home value here is around $301,300, which seems about average. Poverty rate is 15.9%, which is higher than I expected. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Has anyone dealt with this?

Weather-wise, the summers are underrated and winters are affordable. You get used to it after the first year.
