Best kept secrets of Paradise, NV

Hi all, My family moved here when I was a kid. The median home value here is around $358,400, which seems about average. Median household income is $58,874, which feels about average for the area. The unemployment rate is 6.2%, which is concerning. With a population of 186K, Paradise is a mid-size city. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What do you all think? Thanks for reading. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

I've been in Westside for 15 years. Moved from Nashville for a job opportunity. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is excellent. We bought in 2018 at k and it's now worth down slightly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 3-bed in a safe area. Lots of new construction which should help.

**Employment:**
education is strong here. manufacturing is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are wild for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I'm still on the fence after all this time. The outdoor scene is challenging - we have rivers within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Westside schools are surprisingly good. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Limited public transit options. Homeless population growing downtown. And housing market can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
