How is Paradise for outdoor activities?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a teacher here and You can expect to pay around $1,287 for rent here. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Does this match your experience? The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

As someone who grew up here, it's exactly what I was looking for. A lot has changed in the past few years though. public transit used to be much reasonable but now it's surprisingly good.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Cedar Grove. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in retail. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
