Hey, The median home value here is around $175,400, which is actually reasonable. Crime rate is something to consider -Paragould sits at 1,049.8 per 100K. The food scene here is surprisingly good. What are your go-to spots?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Cedar Grove. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in construction. If you're in marketing you might struggle.
People: Generally challenging. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like seafood.
No regrets on my end..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's exactly what I was looking for. Happy to answer more specific questions..
