Living in Paramount -the reality

Been living here since 2023. Median household income is $70,912, which feels about average for the area. It's a a smaller city city with about 52,546 people. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 14 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is healthcare. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Westside side vs the West side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
