Planning a move to Paramount -neighborhoods?

Hey everyone, I'm a teacher here and With a population of 52,546, Paramount is a smaller city. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Does this match your experience? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 9 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the Oak Park side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
