Why I chose Paramount over bigger cities

Longtime lurker here, It's a a smaller city city with about 52,546 people. Median household income is $70,912, which feels about average for the area. With a population of 52,546, Paramount is a smaller city. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Would love some local perspective. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
