Is Paris a good place to live?

So, I've been here for 1 years and The unemployment rate is 0.8%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $142,700 on average. Median household income is $39,365, which feels on the lower side for the area. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Pros:
- Good job market
- Close to nature
- Walkable downtown

Cons:
- Limited nightlife
- Sprawl everywhere
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Not enough green space
What neighborhoods would you suggest? Property taxes are high but you get good services. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by job market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Active local events and festivals
- The healthcare scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Winters are long and cold

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for families. Happy to answer more specific questions..
