Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to Boston it's hit or miss.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from Portland about 3 years ago. The main reasons were weather and a job opportunity.
Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Strong job market in several industries
- Strong sense of community
Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Can feel isolated
Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are manageable, gas is underrated.
Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Good luck with whatever you decide..
