Parker is underrated, change my mind

Been living here since 2023. The unemployment rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Parker sits at 96.4 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $1,973 for rent here. Rent is about $1,973/month for a decent place. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Any advice would be great. Appreciate any input. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Hot take but there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. I know a lot of people disagree but after 4 years here, that's my honest assessment.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. housing market used to be much pricey but now it's excellent.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 2 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Westside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..

I work in government here and I have mixed feelings honestly. The job market for my field is improving. Happy to answer more specific questions..
