Is Parkland good for remote workers?

I'm a teacher here and Median household income is $200,156, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 35,799, Parkland is a smaller city. Poverty rate is 3.5%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Appreciate any input. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Bought a house here in 2016 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's not perfect but it works for me. Internet is better than expected in most areas.

Used to live on the Riverside side, now on the Westside side. Completely different vibe. it exceeded my expectations.

Public transit is surprisingly good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I have mixed feelings honestly.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 12 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Meadowbrook side vs the Old Town side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Good luck with whatever you decide..
