Parkland job market vs Omaha

Random thought, I'm originally from Atlanta and Median household income is $200,156, which feels pretty solid for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Parkland sits at 25.5 per 100K. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. Worth the trade-offs? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 6 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The North side vs the Sunset side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
