Rent in Parkland getting crazy

Random thought, I'm a remote worker and The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Parkland sits at 25.5 per 100K. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. Anyone in a similar situation? Looking forward to hearing from you all. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
