How is Parkville for outdoor activities?

Been meaning to ask this. Crime rate is something to consider -Parkville sits at 1,338.5 per 100K. Poverty rate is 4.6%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $78,405 in Parkville. The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Anyone in a similar situation? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Downtown. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in education. If you're in engineering you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Austin and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Lakewood. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Southern.

Hope this helps!.
