Moving from Raleigh to Parkville next month
Random thought, We're a young couple and Anyone in a similar situation? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from Dallas about 8 years ago. The main reasons were weather and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good schools in most areas
- Lots of new development happening
Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Road conditions need improvement
Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are pricey, gas is tough.
Socially, it exceeded my expectations. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
