Unpopular opinion about Parkville

Hey, I grew up here but left for a while. Rent is about $1,078/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $1,078 for rent here. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Am I overthinking this? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 6 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is hit or miss.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Uptown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Used to live on the Greenfield side, now on the Springfield side. Completely different vibe. it's been a really good experience overall.

Public transit is pretty good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

Came here for a fresh start and stayed because I'm still on the fence after all this time. The dating scene is honestly challenging and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
