Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a 53-year-old marketing manager and Median household income is $50,910, which feels on the lower side for the area. The unemployment rate is 6.7%, which is concerning. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Should I be concerned? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Greenfield. It's pretty good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.
People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Italian.
